Taytay Falls
Unplanned things are always the best. We are supposed to just swim on a public pool somewhere in Pansol since my relatives just came in our house. We are hopping and thinking where to swim. When suddenly, looking for a good public pool doesn’t make sense. We end up going to Majayjay. And that’s the amazing road trip we’ve ever had —the creeping hours. No cars, no houses, just the two cars we have been travelling to a spiral, curved and scary road in the middle of the night —night of all saints. After the goose bumps of travelling we finally came to our destination, Majayjay Falls. No hints of caretaker or even lights on the way to falls. We end up trying to find someone, who can save us. Finally, someone came and helped us to wake the caretaker since we need a room to stay overnight.
We woke up dancing of joy for the good and fresh ambiance of the place. We rented a tent, bought our foods, started to hike. That was so amazing. Then we came to the good heart of the mountain, i love the falls, the place, the rocks and stones, the clear water. Everything was so so stunning. I jumped with joy in the freezing water of the falls. I thought i became ice. We went to other parts of water, where a big rock from the top fell almost to my head. We ran for our lives and took a rest. I got bruises from slipping and falling to the rocks because of panic that the mountain might have a landslide. People saw us. They were terrified for us too. But we didn’t let that ruined our happiness. We played and swam not in that place anymore. And i think i had the best day in my life even i had bruises and body ache.
P.S. We don’t have the swimming attire since we thought we’ll just swim somewhere. I forgot my flipper for diving ugh.
